Why You Should Get Your Senior Pictures Taken in the Summer or Fall

Getting your Senior Pictures done the summer before your senior year or right after the school year starts sounds really early for a lot of seniors.  I know.  I felt the same way my senior year.

The thing is, If you don’t get them done in the summer or fall, by the time winter rolls around, you’ve limited your options to indoor portraits.  This is not necessarily a bad thing, but if you want the freedom of outdoor shots, you do need to think about the weather.  By the time weather warms up again in the Spring, you’ve limited the time you have to make use out of your photos.  In April and May, you’ll be preparing for graduation and everything that entails.  This is not to say that you can’t hand your pictures out around this time, but after your friends have been handing them out all year, you’ll feel a little behind the curve.

So, take it from someone who photographs seniors year round.  Get them done now.  You won’t regret it.
