More from the Month of May

There are two more of these posts to follow.  I’ve been busy taking photos and editing so I haven’t had much time updating the blog.

This particular photoshoot was a senior photo session and an engagement photo session all in one.  I had a ton of fun!  Chris and Ronae were great and I wish them all the happiness in the future!

Websites and Weddings – Part 1

Recently I had the opportunity to photograph a couple of friends of mine. Dave and I attended church together for several years. Last year he married Suzie, a freelance editor. (Great work, Dave!)

The wedding took place in Suzie’s hometown and they used a local photographer. After walking away from the rapid-paced events of the day, they felt they were missing some key portraits.

Upon getting settled after the move to Fort Wayne, Dave and Suzie requested that I help fill in the gaps. Due to the cold weather, we made our way to the Botanical Conservatory for a 2 hour shoot.

My favorite moments were when one child say Suzie and exclaimed, “Look, Mommy, a princess!” and when Dave and Suzie walked away saying that they had more fun photographing that day than on the day of their wedding, because it was soley about them and they didn’t have to worry about catering to family and friends.

Here are a few of my favorite shots from that day…

New Photography Website

After months of deliberation on what direction to go, I’ve finally launched the new Sarah Musselman Photography website!  The design is a much better reflection of my style than the old site.  It also features new flash galleries, that are easily manageable.

You can visit the new site here: http://photography.sarahmusselman.com.
